Mohammed Ahmed Alshaikh Mahfoodh

Mohammed Alshaikh is a senior former government official, experienced lawyer, and a highly qualified arbitrator. He earned a bachelor’s degree in sociology and law in 1987 from The Emirates University, Al Ain (UAE) and a bachelor’s degree in law and economics in 2016 from Al Jazeera University, Dubai (UAE).

Mr. Alshaikh is a certified member of the Islamic International Center for Reconciliation and Arbitration since 2016. He has multiple training certificates from the Arab Arbitration Association and the Singapore Mediation Centre (Strategic Conflict Management for Professionals).

Prior to joining Hussain Lootah & Associates, Mr. Alshaikh served as a legal advisor at the Ministry of Labor, Dubai (1987-1997), a secretary general of the rent committee at the Dubai Municipality (1997-2013), a senior legal consultant at the Department of Land and Property, Dubai (2014-2016) and a Deputy Director at the Reconciliation and mediation center, Dubai Land Department, Dubai (2016-2018).

Mr. Alshaikh’s extensive experience is complemented with in-depth knowledge in legal regulations and preparation of administrative decisions, excellence and professional competence in consultation for complex legal matters. He is fluent in Arabic and English and specialized in real estate law and labor law.
